Meet the Team
Sheila- Office Manager
Sheila graduated from Central Community College with an Associates of Applied Science degree in 1985. She practiced as a dental hygienist for nearly 20 years before joining the Vacek Family Dentistry team as our amazingly organized and efficient office manager in 2006. With a total of 25 years experience in dentistry, she wears many hats while handling our front office like a pro, and always with a friendly smile! Sheila says she appreciates working alongside a dentist who puts so much care and attention to detail into his work.
Sheila will be your primary contact at Vacek Family Dentistry. She is thoroughly knowledgeable not only in clinical dentistry, but also in managing the logistical aspects of patient care, including insurance, financing, and coordination of treatment. Sheila is a valuable asset to our practice, but even more so to our patients- just ask one of them!
Originally from Grand Island, Nebraska, Sheila shares a home with her husband, Scott, and their wonderful son, Daniel. She enjoys spending her free time with Scott and Daniel, and cheering on Husker football (Go Big Red!).
Erin- Dental Hygienist
Erin first completed a B.A. in psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2003, and then received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2007. She joined Vacek Family Dentistry in 2010 and provides our patients with gentle, attentive care, including the preventive and periodontal services essential to good oral health. Erin enjoys being a part of our small, tightly knit team and working in a dental office dedicated to learning about, and integrating, the latest in modern technology. Erin would shy away from such praise, but her personable manner and gentle touch are well-known and often cited in our patient's positive feedback.
When she’s not getting to know our patients, you’ll find Erin spending time with her husband, Will, traveling, exercising, and enjoying the outdoors.
Stacy- Certified Dental Assistant
Stacy graduated from Southeast Community College and earned her certification from the Dental Assisting National Board in 2005. She joined our team in 2008, is an expert in providing our patients with a safe environment, and assists Dr. Vacek chair side. Stacy’s favorite aspect of Vacek Family Dentistry is the opportunity to work with the latest technology, including CEREC, lasers, and digital radiography. She also says it’s easy to come into such a beautiful office and great working environment and share each day with a team who enjoys what they do. Much in the same way, our patients find it easy to strike up a conversation and feel at ease with Stacy's charming demeanor, because, believe it or not, some people are a little nervous about seeing the dentist!
In her free time, Stacy loves being the favorite aunt to her nephew, Cotter, and niece, Bellamy. She likes shopping, traveling, boating, and spending time outdoors with her two pugs, Jubi and Esko.
