Dr. Kendra Kozisek
Background
Dr.Kendra Kozisek is a born-and-raised Nebraskan who grew up on her family farm.Her upbringing gave her an appreciation for hard work, meaningful connections,and community- values she strives to bring to practice every day. She lovesthat dentistry allows her to care for patients of all ages, from young childrento older adults, and especially enjoys getting to know her patients and theirfamilies. Her goal is to create a welcoming environment where every patientfeels comfortable and confident in their care.
Dr.Kozisek earned her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Chemistry fromMorningside University, where she was also a collegiate softball pitcher. Shethen earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from the Universityof Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry.
Education
Whilepursuing her dental education, Dr. Kozisek was a Nebraska Area Health EducationCenter Scholar. Through the program, she received enhanced training focused onproviding care in underserved communities and completed the Institute forHealthcare Improvement Basic Certificate, which emphasizes healthcare qualityand safety principles. She also received Certificates of Achievement from theNebraska Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of ImplantDentistry.
Personal Interests
These days, he and his wife, Ciarra, are loving life in Lincoln as new parents to baby Beckham. You’ll often find them watching Husker games, spending time with friends and family, and soaking up the everyday joys of their new chapter together.

As part of the VFD team, Dr. Kozisek joins in the practice’s ongoing partnership with Bright Island Outreach—an organization that provides vital dental care to underserved communities in the Dominican Republic. These mission trips give team members like Dr. Kozisek a powerful opportunity to serve outside the walls of the practice and connect with patients in an entirely different context. It’s a reflection of the practice’s core belief: that everyone deserves excellent dentistry, and care has the power to change lives.
