Cleaning and hygiene
Deep, thorough cleanings are essential for protecting your teeth and gums. Our hygienists personalize each visit based on your periodontal health and use modern ultrasonic instruments for gentle yet effective plaque removal. Visits are never rushed, and we make sure you leave feeling refreshed and informed.
Digital Imaging
We use low-dose digital X-rays and CBCT scans to get a complete picture of your oral health. Digital X-rays are quick, comfortable, and effective for spotting cavities, bone loss, and other structural concerns. CBCT (cone beam computed tomography) provides a detailed 3D view of your teeth, jaws, and airway. We take a CBCT scan for every new patient, and typically every 5 years or as needed for treatment planning.
Fluoride
We offer a professional fluoride treatment as part of your preventive care to strengthen enamel and reduce the risk of cavities. This simple but effective step is especially helpful for patients of all ages prone to decay or sensitivity.
Dental sealants
Sealants are a powerful preventive tool, especially for kids and teens. We apply a thin protective coating to the grooves of molars to block out cavity-causing bacteria and food buildup, offering years of extra protection where it’s most needed.
Periodontal care
Healthy gums are the foundation of a healthy smile. We assess every patient thoroughly for signs of gum disease and offer customized scaling, root planing, and ongoing maintenance therapies. Early periodontal care can help you avoid bone loss and tooth mobility later in life.
Custom appliances
Whether you’re dealing with jaw tension or sleep-disrupting conditions like sleep apnea, we offer custom solutions designed for comfort and long-term protection. Our digitally-designed night guards—created in-house using 3D printing—help protect your teeth from grinding, reduce TMJ discomfort, and improve sleep quality. For patients with mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea, we also offer EMA (Elastic Mandibular Advancement) appliances. These oral devices gently reposition the jaw to keep the airway open during sleep—an effective, non-invasive alternative to CPAP therapy.
Soft-tissue laser therapy
Our soft-tissue lasers allow us to treat early-stage gum disease, cold sores, and other soft-tissue concerns with remarkable precision and minimal discomfort. Healing is faster, and procedures are often completed without the need for anesthetic.
Sedation
For patients feeling anxious about dental visits—even routine care—we offer nitrous oxide and oral sedation in a calm, personalized setting. We’re committed to making every step of preventive care feel safe, supported, and stress-free.
The preventive care process
Initial consultation
Your first visit includes a full hour with your dentist. We begin with a conversation—outside the operatory—so we can understand your health history, concerns, and goals before any exams begin.
Advanced diagnostics
We take comprehensive digital X-rays and CBCT scans for all new patients, and every five years—or more frequently when clinically indicated. These 3D scans give us a detailed view of your teeth, jaw, airway, and bone structure, helping us uncover the root cause of your symptoms and make precise, evidence-based treatment recommendations.
Comprehensive exam
We perform a thorough assessment of your teeth, gums, and jaw, including an oral cancer screening. From evaluating existing dental work to checking for decay or bone loss, we make sure nothing is missed.
Customized prevention plan
Your care plan is built just for you—whether that includes a deep cleaning, sealants, or a night guard. We’ll walk you through every step so you leave confident, informed, and ready for a healthier smile.
